River Place is a proposed mixed use development including vertically integrated retail, office and housing located adjacent to the White River in Fishers, Indiana. Adjacent to the development and the White River is an 82 acre one mile long site controlled by the developers, ultimately to be deeded to the city as a major waterfront park as part of the entitlement negotiations.

Site solutions’s plan is a thoughtful blend of a high energy “civic” waterfront park, with ample recreational programmed uses, and a significant “green” overlay. In the best tradition of nationally developed waterfront spaces, the south end of the park provides intensive waterfront overlooks, sculptural bridges, dockside restaurants, promenades, and a magnificent Spanish Steps that binds the commercial development to the White River. The north end of the park is more ecologically and recreation based, with a new and pioneering kayak/whitewater course master planned that borrows from the White River proximity for feel and context, yet in actuality harnesses recycled wastewater from a nearby water treatment facility for its “whitewater” sourcing.
